Place your gift in the offering drop-boxes in the lobby.

Online Giving – Click on the “Give Online” link above or download the Valleydale Church app through your phone (text “Valleydale App” to 77977. You can also text "Valleydale Church" to 77977 to give via text.

Drop-Box – There is a drop box located outside the building at the main entrance of the church (upper level, Café entrance.) It is the left-hand corner entrance. This box is checked regularly.  

Mail – Mail should be addressed to Valleydale Church, Attention: Finance Office 2324 Valleydale Road, Birmingham, AL 35244.

Valleydale Baptist Church shall have the power to modify any restriction or condition on the distribution of funds for any specified charitable purposes or to specified organizations if, in the sole judgment of the committee (without the approval of any trustee, custodian, or agent), such restriction or condition becomes, in effect, unnecessary, incapable of fulfillment, or inconsistent with the charitable needs of the community or area served.

United Appeal Fund

Valleydale Baptist Church is a beneficiary of a united appeal fund and thus is exempt from Alabama sales and use tax under section 40-9-12(a) Code of Alabama (1975).

The Finance Committee voted on June 4, 2014, that as a part of the required fund raising activities that loose change will be deposited into the United Appeal Fund.

Funds paid by the United Appeal Fund to the church and charities are dedicated to each organization's benevolent program - care of the poor and those in need.

YEAR-END CONTRIBUTIONS
If you would like to give an end-of-the-year gift to Valleydale Church that will be included in your 2025 giving statement, here are the ways to make your contribution:

  • Place your gift with the offering box on Sundays in November and December.

  • Online Giving – Visit www.valleydale.org/give. 

  • Download the Valleydale Church app on your phone. You can do this by texting “Valleydale” to (833) 670-8076. If the transaction occurs before midnight on December 31, it will be counted in 2025.

  • Drop Box – There is a drop box located outside the building at the main entrance of the church (upper level/Café entrance).  It is the left-hand corner entrance. This box is checked regularly.

  • Mail – All mail postmarked by December 31, 2025, will be included.

  • Stock gifts – Please use the contact information below.  The Finance Office staff can email or fax banking information to your representative.

  • Qualified Charitable Distribution - If you are age 70 ½, you can direct a distribution from your IRA to be paid directly as a contribution to Valleydale Church. You can convert this otherwise taxable distribution into a non-taxable distribution. Note that the distribution must be paid directly from the IRA to Valleydale Church.

Please consult your tax advisor to make sure these strategies are appropriate for you. This list may not be all-inclusive.
