What can I expect from this program?
Semester Based
Fall August to December
Spring January to April
Summer May to August
Birmingham, Alabama
work in a small group of interns and as part of a large staff
grow in biblical and theological knowledge
experience practical ministry
develop personally and ministerially
Ministry areas include preschool, children, students, college, and worship
Who is the ideal intern?
The ideal intern is currently enrolled in undergraduate education and feels a call to ministry or is determining a call to ministry. The internship is best paired with undergraduate academic requirements, but is not required.

Valleydale interns receive a $1500 scholarship per semester for undergraduate education.
Is there any other financial assistance available?
Throughout the internship experience books and resources for leadership and ministry development will be provided. Internships may include national or international missions experience, which will be covered through the internship program.
How long is the Internship Experience?
The Internship is one semester with availability in Fall, Spring, and Summer
How much time will it take each week?
Interns will work up to 20 hours per week in one of the following areas:
Preschool
Children
Students
Sub 30s (college and 20s)
Discipleship
Music, Tech, and Service Programming (Creative)
Where would I live?
Interns are responsible for finding their own housing.
