SECURITY AT VELC

• The safety and security of the children within our care is extremely important to us. All doors to the preschool area are kept locked. Teachers are issued magnet fobs to enter both the exterior church doors as well as the interior doors leading into the preschool area. Cameras have been installed as well. 

• All families are given a carpool tag. Please have this visible in your front dashboard area upon pick-up. We ask parents to keep their child’s file updated with names of those who can pick up (as well as any who may not be allowed to pick-up). 

• A photo ID will be required for pick-up of a child by anyone on the list whom we have not met as well as anyone who is not on the child’s pick-up list (ie extended family, neighbor).
